National grief

The death of Magnus Andersen came as a shock to the entire nation of Luxoria. Magnus Andersen, one of the most prominent figures of Luxoria, was an example for many. This national hero and founding father of the Gambling Battles will surely be remembered, because his influence on the gambling industry was like no one else’s. He died peacefully in his Gloria Mansion surrounded by friends and family. His personal fortune is estimated at 300 billion Lux, which will be distributed among the people in his will. The government of Luxoria has decided to build a memorial in the centre of Fortunatus. The memorial will be revealed after his funeral, which will be livestreamed on the 30th of November. The date was chosen to honour his great wealth that he left behind.

Entrepreneur by heart

Mr. Andersen, founder of the Gambling Battles, pushed Luxoria forward in every way possible. When he started the Gambling Battles 1975, his main goal was to boost the appeal of the country to foreigners and to lift the spirits of the Luxorians. The battle is a competition that can double your net worth in a day. It is, however, a very hard competition to get into. It is always held on a secret location, on a lucrative day, at a random time. He believed that only the best gamblers deserved a spot at the Gambling Battles. According to his judgement the best gamblers would know all the necessary information to get into the competition, because if a gambler know all the details about it, it means that they are part of the inner bullseye level of gamblers. Thus, granting them access to participate. This caused the gambling industry to soar, since it motivated many Luxorians to work on their gambling skills, hoping to participate in the Gambling Battles someday.

The battle of the richest

It is still unknown who will take his place as the richest person of Luxoria next, due to the processing of his will. There are 300 billion Lux on the line, so it all depends on who the recipient of his wealth will be. Social media has been blowing up with conspiracy theories about his death. Some Luxorians don’t believe that he is truly gone, they believe it might be staged and that he will return again. Leaving such great wealth behind is beyond their belief.

Editor’s note: Our heartfelt condolences go out to Mr. Andersen’s family and friends. We are very saddened to hear about your loss. May he rest in peace.
